From A to B and inbetween

A metamorphosis describes a fundamental process of transformation or transformation of something: be it in nature, be it living beings, or in a figurative sense in art and design as a concept and metaphor. Such a process often leads to a profound and dramatic change in form, structure or state.

Together with an AI model, the course translated the idea of metamorphosis into visual experiments. All AI models are based on the principle that an output is calculated from an input. In the world of image generation, this means that an image can be calculated from text, or an image from an image, or a text from an image, or a video from a text. This basic principle “From A to B and inbetween ” framed these experiments.

In this course, various AI models were presented, their ethical and social implications in application were examined, the basics of neural networks were taught, image material was collected on an excursion and visual metamorphoses were created with the open source software “Stable Diffusion”.
