Kubinos

Development of prototypes

For the sub-study of the piique research project (https://piique.info/), I was asked to work with the research team to design cross-media objects to support everyday life in childcare centers.

In this context, I developed five interaction prototypes, so-called Kubinos, which are equipped with various sensors and actuators.

These prototypes were used in workshops with professionals in order to work out together which interactions with children and professionals could work in an easily understandable way and in which situations and subject areas these interactions seem to make the most sense for professionals.
